Meet the Coaches

Melissa Alsup
Hi, I’m Melissa Alsup. I love helping students find the tools they need to succeed in school.
My personal experience, as the parent of a former struggling student, has molded me into the passionate and caring teacher, tutor and brain trainer that I am today. During school hours I’m a math teacher and tutor at Fideles Christian School. After school I am a brain trainer. I started Brain Coaches in response to all the struggling students out there that regular tutoring was not helping. I have been using the PACE program for the past 15 years, helping children and adults improve their cognitive skills to make learning easier and quicker than they ever imagined.

Gray Alsup
I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Gray Alsup and I have had the privilege of being a trainer at Brain Coaches for several years. After graduating from the University of North Georgia, I felt a calling to help other people like myself. I struggled for many years with reading and attention issues. After going through the PACE program my performance at school improved and I was able to achieve success at UNG. I decided to work for Brain Coaches because I wanted to help others through the same program that helped me. Brain Coaches is different from other places because we know the struggle. I was the child who struggled and later succeeded.
We have completed the Orton-Gillingham Comprehensive 30 hour training!
